Grant T. Apthorp Plaque (1969)

Steven A. Rebeck sculpted a relief of Grant T. Apthorp who had been of civil service to East Cleveland, OH for 46 years. The plaque is approximately 14 x 18 inches with the lettering and relief in bronze attached to a wooden plaque. The relief itself is approximately 8 inches in height. Steven's signature is at the lower right shoulder:

The plaque is located at the main entrance lobby of East Cleveland City Hall, 14340 Euclid Ave.

Several letters have fallen off. The text under the relief reads:
