Sculptural Decorations for the Manhattan Bridge (1914)

Many biographical reference books of the 1920’s and 30’s, state that Rebeck worked on sculptural decorations for the Manhattan Bridge.  We also know that Rebeck worked under the sculptor, Carl Augustus Heber from 1912 to 1914.  The two works above are “The Spirit of Industry” (left) and “The Spirit of Commerce” (right) by Heber, created between 1909 and 1914.  Most likely this is what Rebeck worked on.
